ISSM Funding for RAS’s will be allocated to each RAS with $50,000 only on 2009 and no general funding on 2010. Therefore ISSM has made extra funding for regional societies, which not only give a chance for the new advances of sexual medicine in Asia-Pacific region, but also provide new information for research and clinical activities worldwide. Any extra funding will be given by request only on 2008 and 2009 and all funding will be given by request only on 2010 by the decision of the Executive Committee of ISSM Feb. 14, 2008.
The ISSM Grants are provided for the regional societies with extra funds to accomplish the society's projects at a continental level. Funding for individual proposal is not the scope of this grant.
2008 ISSM Extra Funding Winner was decided by ISSM Executive Board Meetings held in Orlando on May 17-19, 2008 as follows;

Announcement for the 2008 Additional ISSM Extra Funding for RAS
There is still an additional $51K USD to be spend on grants by the RAS’S - Primarily completed ISSM Grant application forms should be submitted to APSSM Secretariat until Jun. 23, 2008.
All the applications with ISSM Grant Application Form will be submitted to ISSM Secretariat by APSSM Secretariat. Successful applications for the submitted documents will be notified from the ISSM Board within second semester. Please keep in mind that funding for individual proposal is not the scope of this grant.
