It is with great pleasure that I hereby announce the exclusive opportunity for funding to attend the Joint Congress of the European and International Societies for Sexual Medicine to all of APSSM members.

2008 ISSM Travel Grant Applications are invited from APSSM members who may require funding support to attend theJoint Congress of the European and International Societies for Sexual Medicine, December 7-11, Brussels, Belgium.

Total budget for theJoint Congress of the European and International Societies for Sexual Medicine is USD 20,000, which will support 8~10 Travel Grant Awardees.

Even though, under these situations, we also encourage applicants to seek their own institutions or other funding sources for opportunities to apply for financial support which make us have maximum participation in theJoint Congress of the European and International Societies for Sexual Medicine from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Selection Criteria for Travel Grant Candidates are as follows:

1.      The applicant must be a member of APSSM for a minimum of 2 years.

2.      The applicant must submit an abstract to the 13th World Congress of ISSM and the abstract must be accepted as a podium or poster by the scientific committee of ISSM.

3.      The applicant who got the Travel Grant within last 2 years will be ruled out to give equal opportunity to more members and countries.

4.      The applicants should not have any other pharmaceutical or institutional support.

• All applicants should submit the completed 2008 ISSM Travel Grant Application Form including required documents to the APSSM Secretariat by Oct. 20, 2008. Successful applicants will be notified by Nov. 11, 2008 on the personal basis or in APSSM website.

• Travel Grant Winner for 2008 Joint Congress of the European and International Societies for Sexual Medicine should submit following documents to the APSSM Secretariat.

1.      Completed APSSM Expenditure Claim Form

2.      Receipts for Registration Fee, Roundtrip Airfare and Hotel fee

3.      Self-confirmation letter for confirming not having any other pharmaceutical or institutional support.
