2009 APSSM Fund and ISSM Extra-Fund Application
 
Ⅰ.
Submission of the Application Form to APSSM Secretariat
Each application form from personal applicant, study group, respective national organization or local organizing committee of APSSM sponsored meeting should be submitted to APSSM Secretariat by e-mail (secretariat@apssm.org) or postal delivery until Nov. 15, 2008.
 
Fund Application Subjects are as follows;
1. APSSM Sponsored Congress & Meeting
APSSM have supported the Biennial Meeting of APSSM, various APSSM sponsored meeting including APSSAM, AGASSI, GIAF and Japan-ASEAN Men's Health & Aging Conference, and Local Conference to enable countries in the Asia-Pacific region to hold congress or meetings related to the field of sexual dysfunction or men’s health.
1) 12th Biennial Meeting of the Asia Pacific Society for Sexual Medicine, Singapore,
December 12 – 15, 2009
▪ Required Documents: (1) ISSM Grant Application Form (Appendix 1)
(2) Grant Application Form for the Biennial Meeting of APSSM (Appendix 2)
2) 5th Congress of Asia Pacific Society for the Study of the Aging Male (APSSAM), Osaka, October 15-18, 2009

(2) Grant Application Form for APSSM Sponsored Congress
 (Appendix 3)
3) Local Conference at the Member Countries

     4) Special Lecture or Symposium at the non-member countries

2. Basic Research Grants
Research Grants will give a chance for the new advances of sexual medicine in Asia-Pacific region, but also provide new information for research and clinical activities worldwide. Research Grants are provided for the APSSM members, study groups or regional societies of member countries to accomplish the research projects at a continental level. Funding for individual proposal is not the scope of this grant according to ISSM policy.

3. APSSM Travel Grants
Applications are invited from APSSM members who may require funding support to attend the Biennial Meeting of APSSM, the APSSM sponsored meeting, and Exchange Programme with SMSNA & SLAMS.
1) Board Travel Payment for Executive Committee
2) Exchange Programme with SMSNA and SLAMS 2009 (will be prepared bySecretary General of APSSM)

Evaluation and Decision of the Application Document by the Executive Committee, the Development Committee and the Scientific Program & Research Committee of APSSM
Expected Duration : Dec. 1st to 20th, 2008
    Key Comments
▪ Each Application will be evaluated by duty committee, APSSM Secretariat or generally
acceptable official progression.
▪ Some budgets could be adjusted in comparison with previous paid budgets by financial situation or other balanced factors.
▪ Application which is inadequate for the purpose of each fund will be eliminated by the decision of Secretary General.
 
Ⅲ.
Submission of the ISSM Extra-Fund Application by APSSM Secretariat
Expected Date: Dec. 20, 2008
 
Ⅳ.
Announcement of the Approved Application by ISSM Board Meeting
    Expected Date: Within 1st quarter, 2009
 
Ⅴ.
Final Announcement of APSSM/ISSM Grants for Grant Winner
from APSSM Secretariat
 Expected Date: Within 2 weeks after the Approval of the ISSM Extra-Fund
 
※ About Budget Deduction
1) 5~10% of the total confirmed budget could be deducted for the expenses of official progression, which will be stated by the final decision of Executive Committee.
2) The bank transfer charge could be partially deducted from the confirmed budget.
